Usage
Deramaxx® should be given orally as directed by your veterinarian. Routine laboratory monitoring is recommended prior to use and periodically while on this medication. 
Missed Doses
Give the dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose, and continue with the regular schedule. Do not give 2 doses at once.
Side Effects
Side effects may include mild stomach upset, vomiting, diarrhea, decreased appetite, and/or drowsiness. Notify your veterinarian if the following side effects persist or are severe: loss of appetite, persistent vomiting, change in stool color, decrease in water consumption or urination, or change in behavior.
Other side effects may occur if you notice anything unusual, contact your veterinarian.
Drug & Food Interactions
Avoid using other NSAIDs or corticosteroids while using deracoxib. Contact your veterinarian if your pet experiences any unusual reactions when different medications are given together.
Make sure to tell your veterinarian what other medication you are giving to your pet. Quite often your veterinarian may prescribe two different medications, even if a drug interaction may occur. In this case, your veterinarian may vary the dose and/or monitor your pet more closely.

Keep out of reach of children and pets. Not for use in humans.
Deramaxx® is not for use in dogs requiring a dose smaller than 6 mg due to inaccurate dosing. Use with caution in dogs with: stomach ulcers, taking diuretics, elderly, bleeding disorders, and that have heart disease. Not for use in cats.

Proin Chewable Tablets should be given orally as directed by your veterinarian. Please consult your veterinarian before making any changes or discontinuing the prescribed dosing schedule.
Proin Chewable Tablets are scored, and the dosage should be calculated in half-tablet increments.

Side effects

Your veterinarian may advise a lower initial dose and gradually increase over time to help find an appropriate dosage and avoid these effects.

Contact your veterinarian immediately if your pet experiences complete loss of appetite, significant weight loss, seizures or collapse, abnormal gait (difficulty walking), extreme behavioral changes (e.g., anxiety, irritability, or aggression), vocalization, or if your pet displays any signs of an extreme increase in blood pressure (including disorientation, decreased coordination, blood in the urine, bloody nose, or sudden blindness).

Notify your veterinarian if your pet experiences any of the effects described above, or if you notice any other side effects that are persistent or troublesome.

For oral use in dogs only- not for human use. Keep out of reach of children. Consult a physician in case of accidental ingestion by humans.
PROIN may cause increased thirst; therefore, provide ample fresh water.
Overdose has been associated with dogs chewing through closed bottles of PROIN and consuming multiple tablets. Therefore, it is important to store PROIN Chewable Tablets out of reach of dogs and other pets in a secure location.
PROIN may mask signs of incontinence due to a urinary tract infection. PROIN is not effective in dogs with incontinence due to neurologic disease or malformations.
PROIN may cause hypertension; therefore, use with caution in dogs with preexisting heart disease, hypertension, liver disease, kidney insufficiency, diabetes, glaucoma, and conditions with a predilection for hypertension (e.g., hyperthyroidism). Use with caution in dogs receiving sympathomimetic drugs, tricyclic antidepressants, or monoamine oxidase inhibitors as increased toxicity may result.
Because this medication should NOT be used within at least 2 weeks of any monoamine oxidase inhibitor (e.g., selegiline, amitraz), it is NOT compatible with flea and tick collars that contain amitraz as an active ingredient. If your pet is currently using one of these collars, consult your veterinarian before starting this medication.
The safe use of PROIN has not been evaluated in dogs that are intended for breeding, or that are pregnant or lactating. Discuss the risks of using this medication with your veterinarian prior to use if your pet is in one of these groups.

Do not administer to animals with a known history or suspected allergy/hypersensitivity to this medication or any of its ingredients. Allergic reactions to medications may occur. Be sure to inform Vetsource and your veterinarian if your pet has any known drug sensitivities or allergies.
If your pet displays symptoms of an allergic reaction, discontinue therapy and call your veterinarian immediately or seek emergency veterinary attention. Product details
Temaril-P (trimeprazine with prednisolone) is indicated for the relief of allergic itch and its associated inflammation, as well as itch resulting from atopic dermatitis and otitis in dogs. Its synergistic combination of antihistamine and corticosteroid may allow for lower doses of corticosteroids.1 Additionally, it’s found to be an effective therapy in various cough conditions, including “kennel cough,” allergic bronchitis, and other coughs of nonspecific origins. This oral tablet is given daily as prescribed by your vet.

Usage
Follow your veterinarian’s instructions as prescribed.

Manufacturer Dosage and Administration:
Up to 10 lbs. – 1/2 (one-half) tablet, twice daily
11-20 lbs. – 1 tablet, twice daily
21-40 lbs. – 2 tablets, twice daily
Over 40 lbs. – 3 tablets, twice daily

After four days, reduce dosage to 1/2 (half) of the initial dose or to an amount just sufficient to maintain remission of symptoms.

Missed doses
Administer the dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with the regular schedule. Do not give two doses at once.

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place at a controlled room temperature not exceeding 77°F. Keep in a tight, light-resistant container and out of the reach of children and pets. Store away from heat and direct sunlight. Do not store in the bathroom, near the kitchen sink, or in damp places. The medicine may break down if exposed to heat or moisture.


Side effects
The appearance and severity of side effects with Temaril-P are dose-related and are minimal at the recommended dosage level.
The most common side effect of this medication is drowsiness, which typically decreases after it is given consistently over time.
Other possible side effects include (but may not be limited to) increased thirst, urination, and/or appetite; dull/dry haircoat; weight changes; excessive panting; GI effects (vomiting, diarrhea, GI ulceration); muscle wasting; weakness, muscle tremors, or rigidity; and behavioral changes (e.g., depression, restlessness, aggression).

Many side effects of corticosteroids are linked to high doses or prolonged usage; however, side effects may still occur during short-term therapy. Your veterinarian may provide specific instructions to help avoid or lessen these effects.

Contact your veterinarian immediately if your pet has complete loss of appetite, atypically low energy levels, extreme behavioral changes (e.g., aggression), bloody vomit, black or tarry stools, or shows any signs of infection (e.g., fever, chills).

Notify your veterinarian if your pet experiences any of the effects described above, or if you notice any other side effects that are persistent or troublesome.
If you notice anything unusual, please consult your veterinarian.

Precautions
Do NOT discontinue this medication abruptly; prolonged treatment with Temaril-P must be withdrawn gradually. Please consult your veterinarian before making any changes to the prescribed dosing schedule.
Do NOT use Temaril-P in animals with untreated Cushing’s disease, tuberculosis, active GI (peptic) or corneal ulcers, a current fungal infection, that are dehydrated, or those that are currently taking other anti-inflammatory drugs (e.g., aspirin, NSAIDs).
Use with caution in dogs with preexisting epilepsy/seizure disorders; diabetes; heart, liver, or kidney disease; or a current systemic infection. Steroid medications should be used with caution in young, growing animals, as prolonged use may stunt growth.
Use with extreme caution in pregnant animals. Safe use of this medication has not been established and may not be recommended in breeding or lactating animals. Discuss the risks of using this medication with your veterinarian if your pet is in one of these groups.

Do not administer to animals with a known history or suspected allergy/hypersensitivity to any phenothiazine or corticosteroid drug, including this medication or any of its ingredients. Allergic reactions to medications may occur. Be sure to inform Vetsource and your veterinarian if your pet has any known drug sensitivities or allergies.
If your pet displays symptoms of an allergic reaction, discontinue therapy and call your veterinarian immediately or seek emergency veterinary attention. Symptoms may include (but are not limited to): swollen lips, tongue, face, or airways; difficulty breathing; agitation; profuse salivation; and widespread hives or itching.

Drug and food interactions
The following drugs* may have potential interactions with this medication: antidiabetic agents (including insulins), aspirin, blood pressure medications (e.g., amlodipine, enalapril, telmisartan), azole antifungals (e.g., itraconazole, ketoconazole), CNS depressant drugs (e.g., hydroxyzine, methocarbamol, opioids), cyclosporine, digoxin, estriol, fluoroquinolone antibiotics (e.g., ciprofloxacin), metoclopramide, NSAIDs, ondansetron, phenobarbital, potassium-depleting diuretics (e.g., furosemide, hydrochlorothiazide), and SSRIs (e.g., fluoxetine, sertraline).
