These ingredients work by causing spasms and paralysis of the parasites. The parasite is either completely destroyed in the intestine or passed through your pet's stool by natural processes.\n\n\n<p><strong>Is there a generic equivalent available?</strong><br>\nNo, not in this combination.\n\n<p><strong>How is it given?</strong><br>\nDrontal tablets are given by mouth.
